Each is a completely unique, one-of-a-kind piece of art that does good, supporting small artists, ocean and land conservancy and reducing trash by turning it into art.

Whether it was washed up on beaches or found on the side of a hiking trail, each is removed from the environment and up-cycled into something positive. I believe it’s out responsibility to highlight the effect we have on our environment, and by painting the things we love onto the problem we face we can embrace what is really important to us.

I decided to chose a nonprofit that supports a cause close to my heart. I’ve learned to love surfing over the years for what it brings me; fun, challenge or just a break from the everyday. But before I fell deeply in love with the ocean through movement, I knew I loved it for what it gave all of us; health, a functioning ecosystem and so much more. I’ve travelled to a lot of places and seen ocean areas that have trash filling up lineups like in Bali, heard proposed infrastructure projects that could impact breaks (One that I’ve spent a considerable amount of time on), or simply seen negligence towards marine stewardship in any location.

50% of all profits on these pieces sold go directly to “Save The Waves Coalition”. A nonprofit organization that aims to protect coastal ecosystems around the world in partnership with local communities, utilizing a unique combination of protected areas, economics, and direct action.

All of us, big or small have an impact, either for the better or for the worse. This is one of the ways I can put a step forward in the right direction.
